We certainly didn’t do much over the weekend — I was fighting off a migraine for most of it, which sucks a lot of the enjoyment out of the day. I also spent a good chunk of time reading; I finished Gillian Flynn’s Dark Places this afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it (even though I had figured out the killer fairly early on in the story). I’m on to Gone Girl now.
Of course, a bit of knitting was done as well; the Kara sweater is coming along slowly. You can really see the lace pattern now:
And there are fun fingernails! I got some nail polish strips from Sephora last week. I like them, although I don’t know how often I’ll buy them again. I also got a set with birds on them.

My weekend was mostly a loss, too. I’ll be counting the minutes to Labor Day weekend. If I have a migraine next weekend, I’ll kill someone. Just saying.
